Gordon Ramsay’s Sticky Spicy Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 pieces of chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons of paste made from dates
  • 2 tablespoons of cane sugar
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
  • 1 oz. of sliced green onions and chives
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  • First, prepare the marinade. In a medium-sized dish, combine 3 tablespoons of tamarind paste and 2 tablespoons cane sugar.
  • Add a substantial amount of red pepper flakes. 2 smashed garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Place the chicken wings in a medium-sized bowl and begin massaging the marinade onto the wings. Make sure to evenly coat the chicken wings with the marinade.
  • Now cover the wings and place them in the fridge. Marinate your chicken wings overnight if possible; if not, half an hour will get the Asian flavors going.
  • Line the baking pan with aluminum foil. Put the chicken wings on the baking sheet.
  • Place the baking sheet in a 425°F oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • After cooked, transfer the chicken wings to a serving platter and garnish with chives or green onions.
